Microsoft Authenticator Set-up Instructions

Microsoft Authenticator Set-up Instructions ( Student / Staff / Faculty)

Follow the below steps:
1. Open your mobile device, navigate to your Play or iTunes Store and Search for the Microsoft Authenticator App.

2.For Staff / Faculty
Visit portal.office.com and enter your email address – username@cw.edu
For Students
Visit portal.office.com and enter your Student email address -username@students.cw.edu


3. Enter your password.

4. Click next on this message that says “More information required”

5. Click Next
6. Click Next at the Microsoft Authenticator Prompt

7. Click Next
8. Open the Microsoft Authenticator App on your phone
9. Select the + icon
10. Select Work of school account
11. Choose Scan QR Code
12. Click Next on the computer screen
13. Scan the QR code with your phone
14. Account will be added to the Microsoft Authenticator App
15. Click Next on the computer screen
16. Enter the number displayed in your Authenticator App
17. Choose Yes
18. Click Next on the computer screen
19. Click Done at Success window

20. Check box for Don’t show this again
21. Click Yes
